The training course consisted of six lectures during one and half day followed by\u00a0practical demonstration of European mink handling in captivity.\u00a0The course was organised by Calviac Zoo and attended by zoo specialists in France interested in conservation of this species.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0training course\u00a0consisted of the following workshop lectures:<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0European mink, Mustela lutreola, conservation breeding &#8211; introduction to the course.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0European mink, Musteal lutreola, the species and its conservation.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0European mink, Mustela lutreola, captive breeding &#8211; sophisticated conservation tool.<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0European mink, Mustela lutreola, conservation breeding program.<\/p>\n<p>5.\u00a0European mink, Mustela lutreola, conservation breeding &#8211; practical issues.<\/p>\n<p>6. Reintroduction, complicated conservation tool.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This was\u00a0the second course of its kind.
