{"id":330,"date":"2014-11-18T12:35:05","date_gmt":"2014-11-18T12:35:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lutreola.eu\/?page_id=330"},"modified":"2014-11-18T12:35:21","modified_gmt":"2014-11-18T12:35:21","slug":"2011-2012-management-plan-for-m-margaritifera-in-estonia","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/lutreola.eu\/en\/tegevus-2\/short-term-projects\/2011-2012-management-plan-for-m-margaritifera-in-estonia\/","title":{"rendered":"2011-2012 Management plan for M.margaritifera in Estonia"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Management plan for\u00a0<em>M.margaritifera\u00a0<\/em>in Estonia<\/h2>\n<p>In 2011 &#8211; 2012 Lutreola foundation was commissioned by Estonian Environmental Board to compile\u00a0the actions plan for River Pearl Mussel (<em>Margaritifera margaritifera<\/em>) for the period 2013-2017.<\/p>\n<p>In the course of this we did the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Inventory of all the potential risk for margaritifera in the only river system still inhabited with this species<\/li>\n<li>Inventory and assessment\u00a0of the status of the remaining population in North of Estonia<\/li>\n<li>Inventory of\u00a0South-Estonian sites with historical records of\u00a0the species<\/li>\n<li>Engagement of all stake-holders and the competence\u00a0for preparation\u00a0of the management plan.<\/li>\n<li>Drafting\u00a0of the plan\u00a0and\u00a0its revision by all stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The plan was\u00a0submitted to the Environmental Board in 15.12.2012. in 19th of December 2012 it\u00a0reached to the Species Committee at the Ministry of the Environment\u00a0and was accepted. It is now (as of 29.01.2013) waiting for formal approval by the Estonian Minister of the Environment.<\/p>\n<p>During these actions we also produced a short introductory film about River Pearl Mussel.
